Medium: Mixed Media on Canvas
Dimensions: 20 × 24 inches
Carried Happiness was inspired by a joyful day spent along San Diego Bay with the artist’s husband and their dog. In that moment, the artist experienced a profound sense of gratitude and blessing—feeling deeply connected to the beauty of the day and to loved ones who are no longer physically present. The landscape becomes a reflection of that emotional awareness. Abstract forms moving through the water symbolize the life it carries—people, animals, and the unseen rhythms of the ocean that give the scene its energy and movement. Through vibrant color and expressive texture, the painting captures the feeling of a moment when happiness and presence came together, reminding the artist of the quiet power of both human life and spirit.
